April Zorsky

Partner and Chief Creative Officer

April Zorsky was born and raised in Colorado and is an entrepreneur at heart. After studying English literature at the University of Colorado, she ambitiously followed her dreams (and her Texan husband) to Dallas where she embarked on an exciting career that evolved into over a decade of experience in events.

April began her career at the Neiman Marcus Group (NMG) and quickly worked her way up the corporate ladder into a coveted position planning internal events for the company’s CEO. During her time at NMG, she learned the art of event planning and the importance of high-level customer service. Following her time at NMG, April transitioned her skills to join the small but mighty events team at the George W. Bush Presidential Center. It was the honor of her professional career to plan events for President and Mrs. Bush. April was the lead planner for countless events, but some of the most memorable include the Dedication of the George W. Bush Presidential Center and the African First Ladies Summit: Investing in Women, Strengthening Africa, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

In 2015, April left Dallas and moved to Chicago with her young family where she started her own event consulting business. For four years, April planned numerous impressive events, gaining many wonderful private clients and large non-profit clients like the University of Chicago and the George W. Bush Presidential Center. While running her own business, she was the lead planner for events such as the Bush Center’s 2018 Forum on Leadership, which boasted over 5,000 guests and a special conversation with Jeff Bezos, the 2018 Clinton Global Initiative University hosted by the University of Chicago, and many successful fundraisers around the country.

In 2019, April became a partner at Brigade Events and leads the charge on creative strategy for the company along with planning some of their largest events. She returned “home” to Dallas in 2019 and is thankful every day to do what she loves with co-workers she is proud to call her friends. April prides herself on her incredible work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to Brigade’s clients. 

April is the proud wife to Joshua, and hopes that being a working mother will one day inspire her beloved children, Eloise, George, and Rose, to work hard and follow their dreams.
